C&I Solar Incentives & Net-Metering (DHBVN/UHBVN)
Under the current India and Haryana Solar Power Policy guidelines, commercial and industrial connections are eligible for net metering with a streamlined approval pathway. While there are no upfront cash subsidies for business entities, the government has provided robust tax shields and grid accounting benefits.
Net Metering limit
Allowed up to 500 kW or the sanctioned contract demand load of the premises, whichever is lower.
10% Year-1 Tax Savings
Avail of 40% Accelerated Depreciation (AD) under Section 32 of the Income Tax Act, yielding immediate corporate tax reductions.
C&I Eligibility & Mandates
- Grid Connectivity: Available for both Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) supply up to 33 kV grid synchronization levels.
- Green Energy Open Access: Businesses with clubbed connection loads >= 100 kW can procure bulk solar power from open markets.
- Electricity Duty Exemption: 100% exemption on electricity duty on solar power generated for self-consumption.
